Free memberships

I have a question. I would like to suspend the requirement to pay membership fees for this year as we are undergoing significant changes in the organization as we focus on implementing the Business Plan that was ratified at the June 06 AGM. I realize that some of you have already paid your fees for 2006 but I propose we award you with a free year in credit for that so you will not have to renew until April 2008. So, my question is, would you support this, or would you have a problem with this?

Having K-12 schools and jurisdictions within Alberta revisit ADETA this coming year will be a critical aspect of expanding ADETA's mandate and building deeper understandings regarding the K-20 learning community. A year of free membership for K-12 signals this changing opportunity. I see it as a necessary first step in rebuilding community. I would support ADETA's free membership for this coming year.
